Well, seeing that this place is pretty much dead now, I'll be locking these forums tomorrow/later today(depending on your timezone).
I also feel a bit fed up with having to deal with Proboards' software, and ever since they pushed the "V5 update" on this forum this place has been feeling like nothing but a nuisance to me. I didn't wanna come here again due to various bad things, the main part being that most members came to leave and forget about this place, and secondly the loneliness that echoed throughout here. There's simply no activity here anymore, and I don't have the time now to keep this place going.
Locking the forums is something I have been considering in case things would start taking a turn for the worse. When I first started the forum I did the mistake of not spreading the word about it to other places on the internet, and the forum itself was a bit of a mess.
Even though things look more tidy now, I think this is as far I have gotten with these old boards since it came to be dying a slow death, and trying to revive a dead community ain't gonna help me any further, not even mental-wise. I think that starting a new community from the ground up is the best option, rather than keeping up with a place that I no longer feel anything for.
However, as soon as I decide to start a new Conker community, I won't be 100% in charge of maintaining the new forum, since I will be mostly a co-admin of sorts. The reason for this is that I don't feel like I have time to do all the maintenance by myself, and having someone who can do a even better job would be a big help to the boards.
Even if this forum will no longer be active, I'll let it remain on Proboards, but from tomorrow on it won't be possible to post any new topics, nor will it be possible to reply to any posts.
I'm deeply sorry I have to make this decision, but this is something I've been thinking about doing since last year, and now is the time for me to close these old forums. I'd like to thank all the members that have contributed and posted here, and for keeping this place afloat while it was still going strong.
But don't worry, this isn't the last you have seen of the Conker Boards. The new forums for Conker's Homeland will be coming as soon as possible. How soon or later depends. Anyway, let's hope it doesn't take too long though.
